We had a party here yesterday in complete retro style. People had to dress up in 70's style. Alums who were present in Hyderabad were also invited and there was a small informal meet with them before the party.
When you have 350 odd in your batch, this is what can happen ..... K meets A at the informal meet with the alums and both start talking. Each of them is thinking that the other guy is an alum and both continue talking for some time before they realize that they are both in the current batch !!!!
We also had a Melody Nite before the party began where tam numbers of veteran composer Ilayaraja were sung by students. Had loads of fun.
